Local Traditional bakers
In this delicate moment, in which the world has almost stopped because of the COVID-19 pandemic, ITKI US launched “Breads from Creative Cities – Local Traditional Bakers” in which the bakers around the world will show, through videos, how to recreate the local “homemade” bread in the families houses. The first local edition of the project “Panettieri d’Italia – Breads from Creative Cities”, dedicated to the Italian bakers, was launched from Fabriano UNESCO Creative City and supported by the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.
XIV Creative Cities Network Annual Conference
Official presentation of the third edition of the project!
The third edition of the project will be characterized by new highlights:
• multiple Knowledge Keepers from each UCC can participate (previous editions only one per UCC);
• to honor the Film Cluster, please prepare a video interview of your local Knowledge Keeper(s) who
participate(s) in the project.
• Participants can ask Puebla (UCC Design), Mexico to give each UCC instructions on how to create a
bread stamp, like the one traditionally used in the past in Mexico to distinguish ownership of bread,
when it was baked in common ovens.
During the XIV UCCN Annual Meeting will be organized a Breads of the Creative Cities Event with local
bakers from Santos Creative City, were will be highlighted the traditional breads!
